SHINee‘s Onew, Key, and Taemin will become the first Korean idols to ever author a “vacation guide”.
The three SHINee members created a collection of their travels in Barcelona, Spain, and titled their guide, ’The Sun’s Children‘. The book will include the members’ photos and stories from their time in the country as well as suggestions on where to eat in Barcelona. It’s targeted for readers who enjoy travelling, and for SHINee fans who would like to get a glimpse into the members’ experiences in Spain.
SHINee’s ‘The Sun’s Children’ will be available for pre-sale online on November 21st (KST). Those who reserve the book before the official December 8th release will receive a bonus postcard set of unrevealed photos.

Some of the biggest names in the Korean entertainment industry have confirmed their attendance to the prestigious 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), which will take place on November 29th at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from 4 – 10 PM (Singapore time).
Local co-organisers MediaCorp VizPro International has revealed the list of attendees for the big event. So far, SNSD, 2NE1, miss A, HyunA, Super Junior, B2ST, and Kim Hyun Joong have all reportedly confirmed their attendance. Meanwhile, the K-media is reporting that Dynamic Duo and YB will also be there to rock the show.
The above list is by no means final, as the organizers revealed that more names will be revealed as the event date nears.
Most of the tickets have long been sold out since it was released for sale, but limited standing tickets are still available over at their official ticketing partner, SISTIC.
B1A4‘s Sandeul was recently named by netizens as Song Joong Ki‘s ‘doppelganger’.
In a recent online community board, a netizen had posted a topic comparing Sandeul’s features to Song Joong Ki’s. The pictures they attached drew a similarity between their smiles, their lip shape, their dimples, and even their eyes.
The comparison drew many comments about how the two stars looked like brothers. “One’s the spitting image of the other“, “Wow… Sandeul will grow up to look like Song Joong Ki? Daebak~”, they wrote.
Song Joong Ki is currently starring in SBS‘s ‘Deep-Rooted Tree‘, while Sandeul is promoting with his group on music programs.
On November 18th, CN BLUE‘s agency revealed, “CN BLUE will perform at ‘Countdown Japan‘, a rock-music festival that’s held every year in the country. They will be the first foreign musicians to make an appearance at the event.”
‘Countdown Japan’ will take place at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall from December 28th through the 31st. The event will see performances from Japan’s top bands, and so it’s regarded as the largest rock-music festival in the country. CN BLUE will be joining the likes of Dragon Ash, Orange Range, ONE OK ROCK, and 100 other bands.
FNC Music continued to state, “‘Countdown Japan’ was only available to domestic, Japanese bands. However, CN BLUE’s invitation was confirmed and they are the first foreign band to appear this year. This is proof of CN BLUE’s high popularity in Japan.”
CN BLUE revealed that they were excited by the invitation, and that “Being the first and only foreign band [at the festival], we will do our best to give a good performance.”

Pledis Entertainment has revealed the jacket photo for their upcoming family album, ‘2011 HAPPY PLEDIS’!
As reported previously, the album is a collaboration project between artists from the agency, including Son Dambi and After School.
Although none of the songs have been released, the album is already gaining much buzz due to the participation of Pledis’ new 7-member boy group, the Pledis Boys.
‘HAPPY PLEDIS’ is an album that the agency hopes will warm the hearts of fans during the cold winter. A part of the sales’ profits will be donated to UNICEF.
AA members Kimchi and Aoora caused fans to melt over a new photo they shared through AA’s official me2day page.
On November 17th, the boys wrote, “Each step together! Hand in hand. We just completed an interview and are off to our next location. What is everyone else up to right now?”
Fans gushed over the photo, especially since Aoora is the group’s oldest member and Kimchi is the youngest. Their color-coordinated outfits only added to the cuteness factor.
Netizens commented, “Hyung takes good care of his dongseng“, “This is so cute, I can’t take it!”, and “You guys are working hard ^^ Fighting!”
Named as having the best athletic body in SNSD, member Sooyoung recently revealed that she was actually jealous of Yuri‘s body.
On the upcoming episode of SBS‘s ‘Victory‘, the girls each evaluated their bodies and exposed their individual insecurities.
Sooyoung confessed, “I’m so thin that it’s worrisome. I’m jealous of Yuri’s healthy body.” Knowing that all girls are highly sensitive about their body image, panelist Sean Lee smoothly stated, ”Sooyoung’s body looks natural, while Yuri’s body looks like she put a lot of work and effort into making it.”
Later, Seohyun named the member who best embodied her ideal body type after much hesitation. “Even though Sunny‘s height is short, her ratio is good,” she said.
