CN BLUE to perform at ‘Countdown Japan’ festival as first foreign band
On November 18th, CN BLUE‘s agency revealed, “CN BLUE will perform at ‘Countdown Japan‘, a rock-music festival that’s held every year in the country. They will be the first foreign musicians to make an appearance at the event.”
‘Countdown Japan’ will take place at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall from December 28th through the 31st. The event will see performances from Japan’s top bands, and so it’s regarded as the largest rock-music festival in the country. CN BLUE will be joining the likes of Dragon Ash, Orange Range, ONE OK ROCK, and 100 other bands.
FNC Music continued to state, “‘Countdown Japan’ was only available to domestic, Japanese bands. However, CN BLUE’s invitation was confirmed and they are the first foreign band to appear this year. This is proof of CN BLUE’s high popularity in Japan.”
CN BLUE revealed that they were excited by the invitation, and that “Being the first and only foreign band [at the festival], we will do our best to give a good performance.”
