SNSD, KARA and TVXQ have been confirmed for this year’s NHK‘s “Kohaku Uta Gassen“, Japan’s biggest year-end music event.
Sankei Sports and other local newspapers reported that SNSD and KARA will join the list of attendees for the first time, and that TVXQ will be attending for the group’s third time in a row.
Sankei Sports reported, “It was already big news that Korean stars Jang Geuk Suk, Supernova, 2PM and SHINee would be performing at the event, [so it’s exciting that] SNSD, KARA and TVXQ have been confirmed as well.”
The Kohaku Uta Gassen will be holding its 62nd event this year on December 31st. The three Korean groups will be joining a veritable line-up of singers, who will then be divided into teams of two (Red and White), to compete in a singing battle in front of a panel of judges.

As part of its promotions, the homepage for the recent movie ‘Chilling Romance‘ posted an unusual poll this week, asking the question, “Which female idol would be least afraid of ghosts, even if they came every day?”
Wonder Girls‘ calm and collected Sohee topped the rankings with 42% of the votes. Following Sohee was SNSD‘s “Ice Queen” Jessica with 26%, KARA‘s Goo Hara with 15%, and T-ara‘s Jiyeon with 14%.
The film ‘Chilling Romance’ is a romantic comedy starring Sohn Ye Jin and Lee Min Ki. The romantic comedy tells a story of Yeori (Sohn Ye Jin), who sees ghosts after nearly dying, and Jogoo (Lee Min Ki), a magician, teaming up with Yeori.

Rumors have been swirling about INFINITE‘s Christmas single, and it looks like they’ve recently been confirmed!
The group’s official website began a countdown, starting from D-7 and updating earlier today to D-5, with the official release scheduled to hit shelves on December 6th (KST). Although no other information has been revealed, fans are curious to hear the melody.
Since INFINITE will be busy with promotional activities in Japan, the digital single will not be promoted on television. It was created as a token of appreciation for both local and international Inspirits.

The 2011 MAMA recently held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium was full of phenomenal performances by various Asian and overseas artists, however, the one that everyone continued talking about was the Trouble Maker performance from 4minute‘s HyunA and B2ST‘s Jang Hyun Seung. More specifically, their sultry dance performance which included a kiss between the two.
Actor Kim Jung Tae has been added to the cast list for KBS‘s ‘Dream High 2‘!
Kim Jung Tae made the announcement himself through his own fan cafe, where he posted, “I have decided to film ‘Dream High 2′“. His agency confirmed the casting, as they told TV Daily on November 30th, ”Because of his other program schedules, he was trying to coordinate it. Recently, however, we were able to confirm his appearance.”
The agency talked about his upcoming schedule as they relayed, “Because it is a project that currently films in the area, it seems that filming will begin next month.”
Kim Jung Tae will take on the role of Kirin High School’s president, ‘Lee Kang Chul’. At this time, the sequel to the popular teenage drama has confirmed that T-ara‘s Jiyeon, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, Ailee, and many others have joined the program.
Big Bang‘s Daesung, who withdrew from all activities after his car accident earlier this year, will be officially returning to entertainment in December.
Daesung’s first official appearance will take place on December 4th at the Seoul Olympic Stadium for the ‘YG Family Concert‘. This will be the first time in 7 months that Daesung will perform on stage.
The idol will also be attending the press conference for his upcoming weekend drama, ‘What’s Up‘, on December 6th at a wedding hall in Nonhyung-dong. Accompanied by co-stars Im Joo Hwan, Lee Soo Hyuk, Jang Hee Jin, and scriptwriter Song Ji Na, Daesung will reveal his feelings about his first acting experience.
With the return to his activities in Korea, Daesung also plans to participate in all of his overseas events. He will meet fans in Japan through the ‘YG Family Concert’ in January 2012, both at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka and at the Super Arena in Saitama.
