Goo Hye Sun and Ji Jin Hee star in a new SBS aviation drama ‘Take Care of Us, Captain’

On December 13, leading actors for the new SBS drama ‘Take Care of Us, Captain‘, Goo Hye Sun and Ji Jin Hee, spoke about why they decided to partake in the drama.

Goo Hye Sun replied, “Around July August I was filming a drama ‘He Never’ in Taiwan, when the director gave me the synopsis and script for ‘Take Care of Us, Captain’. I thought the script was a lot of fun. The director told me that he wanted to cast me, but he personally came all the way to Taiwan. The director had a lot of enthusiasm for the drama”.

Ji Jin Hee added, “I also decided to do this drama after seeing how enthusiastic the director was”.

The drama’s CP, Kim Young Sup, also revealed a surprising cost about their aviation set.

Super Junior’s Heechul & Hwanhee are stationed at the same location

Super Junior‘s Heechul and singer Hwanhee are currently serving their military duties at the same location.

Kim Heechul began his four weeks of basic training at the Nonsan training center back on September 1st, and has been serving as a public service worker at the Sungdong District Office since September 30th. Singer Hwanhee who has a problematic shoulder began his own basic training on October 27th, and has also been serving his military duties at the Sundong District Office since the end of November.

The two are reportedly building a strong friendship as two celebrities having met under different circumstances, and a source close to Heechul remarked, “They work in the same building, and they are only a single floor apart from each other. Whenever they have some free time, they meet to talk about various subjects. They have a lot more time now to talk, as opposed to briefly running into each other backstage here and there, and are definitely taking advantage of the situation.”

Kim Heechul goes back and forth between the Super Junior dormitory and the Sungdong District Office, and is faithfully serving his duties as a Korean citizen. Hwanhee is also serving his country with pride, but also pays close attention to the progress of his boy group, My Name.

After School’s UEE was featured in Shinhwa’s “Once In A Lifetime” MV 5 years ago

Past photos of After School‘s UEE have surfaced on the internet, gaining the attention of netizens.

On December 12th, the above photo was shared via an online community site with the title, “After School’s UEE, featured in Shinhwa‘s MV when she was just a trainee.”

The photo is a screenshot of UEE who was featured in Shinhwa’s “Once In A Lifetime” MV around 5 years ago. A much younger UEE is playing the drums, wearing a green sleeveless t-shirt.

UEE had some more meat on her bones and her image in the MV is quite different from her mature and charismatic stage persona today.

B2ST’s Yoseob voted as most “huggable” in recent poll

B2ST‘s Yoseob was voted as the star that fans wanted to hug most in a recent poll.

To celebrate the unofficial ‘Hug Day’ in Korea, SNS site UFO Town recently held a poll asking “The star I want most to give me a warm hug during the cold winter.”

Yoseob received 25% of the votes, with B1A4‘s Jinyoung and Baro coming in at 2nd and 3rd respectively. Meanwhile, INFINITE‘s L got 4th. As for the runner-ups, TEEN TOP‘s L. Joe, F.T. Island‘s Hongki, Boyfriend‘s Young Min, and T-ara‘s Hyomin also received a lot of votes.

The poll ran from November 17th to December 11th, earning a total of 1200 votes through text messages.

Yoo Seung Ho confirmed for TV Chosun drama, ‘Operation Love’

It was recently revealed that young actor, Yoo Seung Ho has confirmed to play the main male lead in the upcoming drama, ‘Operation Love‘ which will be shown on Chosun cable television.

On December 12th, TV Chosun reported, Yoo Seung Ho has officially confirmed to star in ‘Operation Love’ as the male lead.

Furthermore, a representative for the drama tweeted about the first recording which hyped up the excitement of fans.  Regarding this matter, Osen conducted an interview with the production team where they told, On the 9th, we were testing out new equipment.  It wasn’t an official recording.  We will commence the first recording on the 20th.”

Yoo Seung Ho also shared his thoughts on the drama by saying, “Baek-Ho[Main lead] has the memories of his first love just like any ordinary guy.  The time travel and first love concept of this drama was refreshing and interesting to me.”
