Super Junior, Big Bang and SHINee are in the top ten ‘Singers You’d Like to Perform at the 2012 London Olympics’ list
On January 7th, Super Junior‘s Donghae commented on a recent The Top Tens poll that asked ‘Singers You’d Like to Perform at the 2012 London Olympics’. The Top Tens is a collection of visitor created top ten lists categorized by list type and made available for creators to edit and add to as they see fit.
Big Bang‘s rapper, T.O.P and veteran singer, Kim Tae Won were recently spotted wearing the same jacket.
On December 24th, Kim Tae Won wore a stylish red-and-black jacket at the 2011 KBS ‘Entertainment Awards‘ ceremony. The jacket was the very same one worn by T.O.P. when he performed on Mnet back in March. However, netizens were amazed at how different the two celebrities looked despite wearing the same jacket.
Kim Tae Won emphasized his rocker style by wearing leather pants and a fitted black shirt. He accessorized with chrome aviators as well as an elaborate silver pendant and chain. The red and black jacket added a splash of color, while heightening the look of a cool musician.
T.O.P., on the other hand, lived up to his reputation as the trendy, yet masculine idol as he wore the jacket with ease. The pattern can be overwhelming, but thanks to T.O.P.’s clean cut look and silver hair, it blends in perfectly with his style.
Following Hyorin and Sung Min, it looks like the second couple on MBC’s “Exciting Shake” is MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and After School’s Lizzy.
On January 5, local media reported the two as the second couple, quoting the training coach who appeared on the show with them. The trainer said, “Today, After School’s Lizzy and MBLAQ’s Lee Joon completed the intense filming session,” affirming their appearance on the show.
So far, the only other couple we’re aware of is Hyorin and Sung Min. Other female casts on the show include Kara’s Han Seung Yeon and Secret’s Han Sun Hwa. The rest of the male counterparts are unknown at this point.
MBC “Exciting Shake” is supposed to be a spin-off of the highly popular reality show, “We Got Married.” The couples will compete in different contests and performances, and eventually build a dating relationship.
When rookie boy group CHAOS sat down for their first interview, reporters immediately noticed that they weren’t like the other debuts. For one, they didn’t look intimidated and made sure to meet everyone’s gaze.
Reporters readily agreed that upon meeting Dongmin, Doohwan, Park Taeyang, Hyunsun, and Heejae, the first thought that came to their mind was that they were not accustomed to such an idol group.
When questioned what made them so different, Park Taeyang responded, “Whenever I saw idols on TV, I wondered to myself why all of them looked so similar, why they even danced the same things over and over again. I didn’t really like that and so we knew off the bat that if we’re not going to be different, that we’re not going to do this at all.”
Told that they don’t have any of the cutesy manner of speech or facial expressions that other boy groups have, they shrugged and responded, “We sometimes get into physical fights if our opinions erupt into an argument. Still, we make sure that everything ends on the spot and make up afterwards.”
MBLAQ member Lee Joon confessed that his fellow members know the identity of his ex-girlfriend.
When MC Kim Gura asked about his dating history on JTBC‘s ‘Idols Premiere‘, Lee Joon answered his questions honestly.
Lee Joon looked as though he had nothing to hide, and confessed that he had dated a girl in the past and that his members know everything about her. He seemed to be telling the truth, as none of the other MBLAQ members looked surprised upon hearing the news.
But different from Lee Joon, ‘farmer idol’ Mir and fellow member Thunder who are known for their innocent appeals admitted that they had never been in a relationship.
We’re barely into the first week of January, and already new idol groups have emerged to climb their way to stardom. F.I.X. isn’t your average boy group who rely on pretty boy looks or talented dancers to bring the spotlight — they’ve spent a long while honing their skills in both vocals and composing, and they’re also older than your average rookie.
OSEN recently caught up with F.I.X, who greeted them happily. During the course of the interview, the reporter learned that member Jung Wook (24) is actually the younger cousin of Super Junior‘s Ryeowook.
“Ryeowook hyung was more of a brother to me than a cousin,” said Jungwook. “When I told him that I would be debuting as singer, he told me to work hard and always be modest. He said to always respectfully greet everyone around me, and not worry about discouraging comments I read online. Ryeowook hyung debuted when I was a freshman in high school, but he continued to keep in touch with me and buy me food. He would listen to me when I needed someone to talk to, and always gave me all the cash in his wallet without even counting it.”
Because Jungwook and Ryeowook are cousins, fellow Super Junior member Eunhyuk volunteered to act in F.I.X’s new MV. Thanks to Eunhyuk, the boys’ MV was a big hit online.
