After revealing the name of their upcoming male idol group, Cube Entertainment has announced the launch of their new sub-label, ‘Cube DC’.
Cube DC’s first artist will be the upcoming rookie group, BTOB (“B-to-B”). The seven member boy group will be debuting on March 22nd, and will also become Cube DC’s first artist to debut.
Cube DC has set out to bring “customized artist management” in the long run by fragmenting the world market and utilizing individualized promotion strategies for the various markets of the world.
Their first artist, BTOB, will emphasize the emotional aspects of K-Pop through mesmerizing vocals, beautiful melodies, and lyrics, to establish a new “global standard” in the K-Pop market, and showcase their distinct appeal.
We’ve known for a while that Cube Entertainment would be debuting a new seven member male idol group. What we didn’t know was what their name would be, or when they would debut. However, the answers to those questions have been revealed today!
We have just been notified by Cube Entertainment that the name of the new male idol group is BTOB (“B-to-B”)!
A new teaser site btobofficial.com has just been opened up minutes ago revealing an ‘ID FILM’ to announce the name of the new group to the world. The film showcases the dance skills of the members, and states, “The wait is over. Be ready to be blown away. The world of K-Pop is about to change. Cube Entertainment proudly presents BTOB (Born To Beat).”
BTOB stands for “Born To Beat”, and embodies their determination to show the world a new beat and new performances. The “beat” also stands for their goal to surpass all others, with their name taking on the meaning of – “Born to impress the listeners of the world with music”.
B1A4 has just released their music video for “Baby I’m Sorry“!
Since it’s release earlier today, “Baby I’m Sorry” has already made it into the top ten on music charts. Besides the title track, the rest of their 9 songs from their new album, ‘THE B1A4 [IGNITION]‘, has been topping the charts also.
“Baby I’m Sorry” was written and produced by B1A4′s member Jinyoung. It’s an attractive song with a twist and an addictive melody.

After releasing teaser images over the past week, the boys of B1A4 have official returned with their 1st formal album ‘IGNITION‘.
On the morning of March 13th,a staff member of YGE made a phone call with OSEN news. They stated “When Big Bang makes their comeback in Japan on the 28th, they will promote in Japan and Korea at the same time. Big Bang will start their Japanese promotions in the following week, but they will also continue to carry out their promotional activities in Japan, Korea and several other countries at the same time.”
Big Bang will be releasing a Japanese album which consists of 9 songs (those from the “ALIVE” album as well as 2 new ones). All of the lyrics and melodies were composed by G-Dragon.
After previously opening a cover contest for Big Bang’s tracks “Blue” and “Bad Boy” off its new mini album “ALIVE“, YG Entertainment has surprised fans with another cover contest.
This time, fans get the chance to strut their moves for the dance cover contest for the track “Fantastic Baby“.
From now until March 26, 11:59 pm (KST), fans from all over the world can upload and submit a YouTube video of a dance cover of “Fantastic Baby”. The recipient of the grand prize, (the Fantastic Baby Award), will receive roundtrip airfare to Seoul, accommodation, a tour of the YG headquarters and more.
Ten other lucky winners will receive a Big Bang Alive goods gift box, signed CD and a personal message from Big Bang. All winners will be announced on May 1.
During a recent recording for KBS JOY’s “The Chair Korea Season 2,” Dal Shabet’s Subin expressed her feelings for Big Bang’s G-Dragon. During a past episode of “Strong Heart,” Subin talked about appearing in Taeyang’s music video for “I Need a Girl.” In the music video, she was seen leaning on G-Dragon, causing quite the stir among netizens who were curious about their relationship.
