Se7en has been making his promotional rounds on various music programs since his successful return to the music scene with the Park Jin Young-produced single When I Can′t Sing, and no topic was off limits when he recently sat down with Mnet’s Wide Entertainment News.
The singer appeared on the February 9 broadcast of the show ahead of his M Countdown comeback on the same day where he revealed which YG artist he thought was the most handsome and talked about his relationship with singer Rain.
When asked whom he considered to be the most handsome artist in his agency, Se7en responded, “I personally like the way I look. I personally like my face.”
However, in the end, he decided to give first place to T.O.P, citing the Big Bang rapper’s “charismatic gaze” as one of his reasons.
The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) recently conducted a survey on the brand image of South Korea among young people in Europe. They surveyed 1208 youths, aged 18-30 years old, in five major European cities — London, Paris, Frankfurt, Milan and Budapest.
Big Bang’s Taeyang and 4minute’s HyunA were picked as “the Next Rain and Hyori” by other idol singers in this week’s MBC Everyone’s “Weekly Idol.” The survey asked a group of real-life idols to pick “five idol singers with the most potential to follow in the success of Rain and Hyori” and the most votes were given to Taeyang and HyunA, who beat out the likes of BEAST’s Lee Gi Kwang, Jay Park, SNSD’s Yuri, and G.NA. In particular, it was reported that a lot of the members of Infinite, MBLAQ, U-Kiss, and B1A4 voted for HyunA, arousing the interest of many fans.
MBC Everyone’s “Weekly Idol” has been garnering a lot of attention lately for this segment called “Real Chart! Idol’s Self-Ranking,” where current idol singers participate in various surveys. This week’s survey sparked more interest for the topic’s sensitivity and currency, as Rain just enlisted in the army last week and Hyori has been spending more time on show-hosting roles. The episode featuring this survey will be aired on Oct. 22.

Rain, who will join the military on the 11th of this month, showed a video of himself shedding tears.
On September 30, the ending part of Rain’s concert, which took place on the 25th of the same month, was updated on YouTube. In this movie, Rain said thank you to his fans with tears. He started his talk by mentioning his debut date but couldn’t continue any further because he started crying. He tried to stop but couldn’t. Eventually after wearing his sunglasses, he could continue talking, “it just went by like wind. At the opening of this concert, it was hard to continue because I suddenly remembered the day of my first audition. I went through hard times and already 10 years have been passed.”
Regarding his military service, “I will be fine. This is nothing. Everyone joins the military. I’m joining kind of late so it’s quite embarrassing,” he said. He also added, “Thank you so much for all of you who have sincerely supported me for the last 10 years. And my family as well. I love you all so much,” and bowed to his fans.
Rain is joining the military on the 11th.
