Leeteuk proposes to Kang Sora with a ring during the Super Show 4
Leeteuk and Kang Sora, currently appearing on MBC TV’s We Got Married Season 3,expressed their love to each other.
On November 20 at 4 pm, before the Super Junior World Tour-Super Show 4, which took place in the Gymnastics Stadium in Olympic Park, Kang met Leeteuk and supported her virtual husband with a packed lunch she prepared for him.
Leeteuk was surprised by Kang’s visit and said thank you. Kang asked him to have a nice lunch.
At the concert started from 4:30 pm, Leeteuk gave Kang a ring and a rose, which he prepared to make a special memory for her.
MBLAQ’s Mir talks about his volunteering efforts in Peru
MBLAQ member Mir recently participated in ‘Dream of Koika‘, a new volunteer project that was launched by MBC.
Mir was at the press conference that was held at the MBC headquarters on November 16th, and he remarked, “I didn’t really understand what people meant when they said giving and sharing will bring you more joy, but I understand now after having participated in this event.”
“My family owns a lot of land, and we’ve never had to worry about any money problems. I thought I was genuinely happy but when I went to Peru, I realized that I wasn’t. I was sharing the chocolate bars with the Peruvian children and when I saw that they were saving some to take back to their family members, there was so much that went through my mind. I honestly feel like they have helped me more than I have helped them, and there’s a lot of different things I felt and realized during my time there. If there is ever another opportunity like this, I will make sure to go again. I want to see and learn so much more,” he said.
Mir traveled to Peru to volunteer along with fellow member G.O., as well as Kim Hojin, Park Boyoung, Park Jungah, and DJ Koo. The group traveled to Peru on September 14th where they volunteered and offered their services for two weeks. They help build clean bathrooms, aided medical care to the citizens, and promoted Korean culture with events like Tae Kwon Do performances.
Block B’s P.O. joins ‘Death Camp 24 Hours’ with rising anticipations [111114]
A new rookie idol member will be making his emergence on MBC Every1’s variety program, “Death Camp 24 Hours”.
The seven member team, which is also comprised of MC Ji Suk Jin, competes against each other in various complex missions and obstacles for ‘24 hours of death’ with charity donations on the line.
Fixed member Hanyoung was unable to attend the recording scheduled on November 11th due to an overseas schedule. To fill his place, producers have enlisted the help of a new rookie idol member.
Block B’s P.O. joined the members for the day’s recording. Not only is he the only teen on the panel, but he also earned the jealousy of the other male members, especially Ji Suk Jin, for his cute looks that could rival any girl group.
SNSD’s Jessica addresses dating rumors with Taecyeon
SNSD‘s Jessica honestly opened up about the dating rumors between herself and 2PM‘s Taecyeon.
The November 9th episode of MBC ‘Golden Fishery – Radio Star‘ was a ‘Musical Star’ special, and stars like Park Hyemi, Lim Tae Kyung, and SNSD‘s Jessica, Taeyeon, and Tiffany guest-starred on the episode.
The MCs questioned Jessica about her relationship with 2PM’s Taecyeon, as they have been frequently spotted together throughout the city.
In regards to the paparazzi photos she said, “We’re just friends. He’s a very close oppa of mine.”
Leeteuk plays an extra in Kang So Ra’s drama
Super Junior’s Leeteuk appears on wife Kang So Ra‘s drama as an extra.
Leeteuk visited the set of wife Kang So Ra’s drama on the episode of MBC ‘We Got Married’ aired on the 5th.
Leeteuk brought beverages for the filming crews on the set, he put couple sticker photos on each bottle before distributing them to the crews. He even helped out the filming a little by appearing as a passerby in one of the scenes. It was an Oscar worthy performance, joke.
It wasn’t all happy and jolly though. Leeteuk seemed quite jealous of the actor Choi Min, starring opposite Kang So Ra in the drama and the tension was felt strongly when the two men shook hands for the first time. Leeteuk gave Choi Min their wedding invitation card to make him jealous and it was a very cute scene to watch.

MBC to partner with YouTube to offer HD content
It’s a dream come true for many international fans – no longer will they have to download Torrents and suffer through low-quality videos! MBC has announced that they’ve partnered up with worldwide video-streaming website, YouTube, to offer select content for an overseas audience.
MBC and Google Korea announced the ‘MBC-Google Content Transfer Partnership’ at an event on the 21st. MBC will offer dramas and variety shows that were broadcast prior to 2005; new content that’s yet to be broadcast will be shared on a case-by-case basis. All files will be uploaded in standard high-definition and will be divided into 10-minute clips.
Kim Jae Chul, the head of MBC, expressed his excitement over the partnership. “This year, we brought in over 200 billion dollars in content-related revenue,” he said. “That’s the power of content. I hope this will be the start of an opportunity to broaden Hallyu through YouTube, the world’s biggest media-sharing site.”
“It has been around three and a half years since YouTube set foot in Korea,” said Google Korea CEO Yeom Dong Hoon. “I’ve always thought it would be a good idea to help with spreading domestic cultural content. Until now, Hallyu has been centered around K-pop but I hope this will increase the wave through MBC content. We expect this will be the foundation of the Hallyu boom.”

Leeteuk and Kang Sora already holding hands?
Recently on the 7th, MBC‘s “We Got Married” confirmed that Leeteuk and Kang Sora would be one of the new couples on the series. Recently, a photo of the two holding hands was leaked on the internet, causing stir among netizens online.
The two are at what appears to be the airport, and Kang Sora shyly offered her hand to Leeteuk, who is holding it with a smile on his face. The two looked as though they were also conversing.
Netizens who saw the photo remarked, “Holding hands already?”, “They’re moving too fast; what are they going to do when the show starts?”, “Kang Sora looks taller“, and “They actually make a good couple.”

‘We Got Married’ PD explains his casting decision behind Leeteuk and Kang Sora
After Leeteuk and Kang Sora‘s casting was confirmed as the new couple for MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘, many fans and viewer cocked their heads at the unlikely pairing.
Leeteuk will be starting his married life with the actress on October 8th, but prior to the episode’s broadcast, PD Kim Jun Hyun took the time to explain his casting decision.
He began, “They’re a match made out of a mismatch.” Because their expertise lies in different industries, the PD hoped to bring them together to put something new on the table.
On Kang Sora, the PD stated, “Meeting her in person, she’s an honest person and knows how to show who she truly is. She has a character that I’m sure will charm anyone, male or female.” Kang Sora also doesn’t know that much about idol groups, such as which member is in which group, and her knowledge about the music industry is fairly limited.
KBS, MBC, SBS: G-Dragon won’t be blacklisted
KBS rep: “It would be difficult to ban G-Dragon from appearing on TV since he received a suspension of indictment, which means he doesn’t need to come to court.”
MBC rep: “We can discuss about it but we don’t know if we’re even going to have a meeting for this. We have meetings for civil or criminal cases but we don’t usually have one for those who have suspended indictments.
SBS said the same thing as KBS and MBC.

Mir of MBLAQ changes his hairstyle to that of a Brazilian soccer player on K-POP Cover Dance
On the episode of MBC TV’s Cover Dance Festival K-POP Roadshow 40120, MBLAQ members visited Brazil, the country of Samba.
In this episode, MBLAQ visited fan Luana’s house, and Luana shed tears and said, “K Pop has been a great comfort to me during my gloomy childhood after the divorce of my parents.”
Especially, Luana, who works as a hairdresser, cut Mir’s hair on the spot. Mir’s new hair looked like that of Brazilian soccer player Neymar and gave a good laugh.
Other members responded: “You look like Beckham.” “You look like a sea horse.” Mir gave a bracelet as a gift and created a friendly atmosphere.

MBLAQ’s Mir has his leg wounded
MBLAQ’s Mir recently had his leg wounded during the volunteer work in Peru.
On the 26th, MBC said Mir went to Peru to shoot KOICA’s Dream and had his leg wounded while he was making bricks to build a toilet. He used pickax and it slightly hit his knee.
Even though his knee was bruised and swollen, he continued working. He even had a surgery for his lumbar disc this year, but he volunteered to dig the ground.
Mir said, “The show originally cast Joon, but I really wanted to do volunteer work so I asked to send me to Peru. The crew member worried about my back but I said I can do everything. So I have to work harder.”
