Earlier today, TV Chosun’s “Entertainment in TV” announced that BIGBANG’s Seungri dropped out of Chung Ang University, where he was majoring in theater and acting studies.
According to a representative from Chung Ang University, “Seungri recently visited the campus and withdrew from school. Because of his BIGBANG activities, he could not attend his classes. And as a result, he’s been placed under academic probation several times. He probably made the decision because it was hard to focus on his entertainment and academic career at the same time.”

She said, ‘when I was a trainee,I met my ex- boyfriend who is now a famous member of an idol group. When we were trainees, this boyfriend gave me a lot of help and even for now, we are still good friends.’
The MC Lee Seung Gi asked ,‘ is he from a 5-member group? ‘ She answered ambiguously, ‘ 5- member groups or groups have less than 5 people but the 5-member groups are included.’
Big Bang’s Seungri to cameo in ‘Light and Shadow’
Big Bang‘s Seungri has revealed that he will be making a special cameo appearance in MBC‘s 50th anniversary drama, ‘Light and Shadow‘.
Seungri will play the role of a trainee who dreams of becoming a star. Confident and full of pride, he calls himself the ‘man of Yeosu’ (his hometown), and wins everyone over with his smooth ‘satoori’ and witty commentary. Seungri is actually from Gwangju, in the same district, so the role should be no problem for him to pull off.
Seungri expressed, “This is my first time acting in a formal drama and I’m looking forward to it a lot, especially since the character I’m playing reflects who I am in real life. I’d love it if our viewers would have fun watching it.”

Seungri to MC “Seoul Tokyo Music Festival 2011” with Hongki, Gyuri and Hara
Yesterday, Seungri and FT Island were added in the list of artists that will be performing in this year’s Seoul Tokyo Music Festival. The event’s official site has just been updated and they have announced that Seungri will be one of the festival’s MCs, along with FT ISland’s Hongki and KARA’s Gyuri and Hara.
Seoul Tokyo Music Festival 2011 will be held at the Saitama Arena in Tokyo on November 9th. Aside from Seungri, KARA and FT Island, other artists in the line-up are: 2NE1, Heo Young-saeng, Kim Kyu-jong, MBLAQ, Brown Eyed Girls, Rainbow, ZE:A, INFINITE, Teen Top, Dal★Shabet and A-PINK.

Se7en, T.O.P, Seungri visit G-Dragon at North Face shoot
G-Dragon’s schedule for a photo shoot went ahead as planned despite his recent scandal of smoking marijuana while in Japan. Apparently, there has been false information on the cancellation of his shoot with “The North Face” as he proceeded with the schedule as planned.
According to reports, the shoot finished by six in the evening and they immediately left the scene with care. YG Entertainment provided security as their vans blocked the front entrance of the area while G-Dragon went out at the back exit.
G-Dragon’s friends from YG Entertainment also paid a visit to support him on the ongoing turmoil. It was noted that Se7en, Big Bang’s TOP and Seungri as well as stylist Yang Seungho stayed with G-Dragon for the whole duration of the shoot.
One of the staff present in the shoot remarked that Se7en is like a brother to G-dragon and was revealed to have been able to brighten up the star with his visit. However, Yang Hyunsuk and other agency officials weren’t able to visit.

Is Seungri Shooting a CF for “Coca Cola”?
Big Bang‘s Seungri recently updated his me2day with a photo that’s caused some netizens to wonder if he’s shooting a CF.
On September 27th, Seungri left a mysterious post on his homepage, saying, “Coca Cola is yummy. If it’s yummy, then I’ll eat it again. Try guessing. Ding Dong Daeng Dong.”
In the photo, Seungri gives the camera a mischievous smirk as he poses in front of a Coca Cola sign.
Netizens immediately bombarded his homepage with comments like, “Are you shooting a CF?”, “Ah your face got slimmer! Did you go on a diet for something…?” and “Tease tease tease!”

Seungri has the potential to be the next Kang Ho Dong? (110928)
On an episode of Mnet‘s ‘Wide Entertainment News‘ that aired on the 27th, the topic of who could be the next greatest MC to fill the shoes of legendary Kang Ho Dong was discussed.
The characteristics they were looking for were ‘cute’, ‘an insatiable appetite for meat’, ‘highly energetic’, ‘loved by all generations’, ‘speaks extremely well’, etc.
The celebrity at the top of the ‘high energy’ list? None other than Big Bang‘s maknae, Seungri. He was chosen for his intense vivacity, others on the list were Leessang‘s Gary, Seo In Young & comedian Park Myung Soo.
Seungri’s speaking abilities rivals Kang Ho Dong and he’s remarkably popular and even has his own sights on running a business. MBLAQ’s Thunder invites Big Bang’s Seungri out for salmon
On September 27th, MBLAQ‘s Thunder revealed a fatigued-looking selca of himself along with a special message to Big Bang‘s Seungri.
Through his Twitter, Thunder wrote, “Revealing my dark circles! Seungri-ya~ let’s go eat salmon.”
Seungri is known for his panda-like dark circles, hence the mention in the tweet. Some also believe that eating salmon will help lighten up your dark circles, but it seems Thunder needs sleep more than anything. His dark circles especially stand out against his pale white skin and bleached hair.
Fans commented, “I heard that broccoli is better than salmon”, “Go catch some salmon with Seungri oppa one day”, and “You must be really tired lately.”

K-pop stars at F1 leave fans high and wanting more
You gotta hand it to the Korean boys — they sure know how to work a crowd.
Three out of five members of the massively popular boy band Big Bang — G-Dragon, T.O.P and Seungri — drove fans wild with their polished dance moves and infectious tracks at the Padang main stage on Friday night for the 2011 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix.
We’re not just talking about two or three all-too-passionate fan girls here, but thousands of them, including many teen boys, too.
Most fans were stationed at their “posts” right in front of the stage as early as 7pm, when the gates to the exclusive Fan Zone were opened. (A reminder to those who don’t want to miss the chance to watch the upcoming concerts at the Padang up-close, be sure to collect your wristbands at stage front as they’re limited to 2,000 fans per day from 3pm on a first-come-first-served basis.)

T.O.P, “We are preparing a super cool surprise for our fans”
One of the top boybands from Korea, Big Bang, headlined a K-pop concert here barely two months ago, but they are already raring to race back to Singapore.
Three members of the quintet will perform as headliners at the 2011 Formula One SingTel Singapore Grand Prix next Friday at the Padang.
They are G-Dragon, T.O.P and Seungri. And T.O.P, whose real name is Choi Seung Hyun, 23, tells Life! in an e-mail interview that he really enjoyed playing to fans here.
“I felt a huge and very tremendous energy throughout the concert,” he says, referring to the gig at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. “We, all the members, prepared that concert with all our hearts for all fans in Singapore. Singapore is actually one of my favorite countries.”
